Hip hop legends Sugar Hill Gang is set to collaborate on stage with Dizzee Rascal at the launch of Sony's new digital Walkman.

The party which takes place on October 17 at a secret location will also see Brett Anderson and Hot Chip DJ whilst Kid Harpoon provides live entertainment.

The event is also set to herald 25 years since the first Walkman was created, with Sugar Hill Gang - responsible for old skool classics such as 'Rapper's Delight' - and Mercury Award winner Dizzee Rascal's on stage collaboration representing the changing face of music.

The new product - a digital media player set to rival Apple's iPod - will then be made available for public purchase.
