PJ Harvey Back With New Album

After a three year hiatus the inimitable PJ Harvey is back with 'White Chalk', due to hit our shelves with a bang on September 24.
'White Chalk' - the follow-up to 2004's 'Uh Huh Her' and Harvey's eight studio album - was produced by Harvey, Flood and John Parish, featuring musical contributions from Dirty Three's Jim White and long time associate Eric Drew Feldman.
Internet rumour suggests that new material from the album will be previewed at her upcoming sold-out gig this Saturday (July 7) in Manchester.
Harvey - who won the Mercury Music Prize in 2001 - is set to take a break from recording for the intimate solo gig at the Bridgewater Hall as part of the Manchester International Festival.
The singer-songwriter - who has played just four shows in the past two years - is confirmed for just two other live dates this year at the Summercase Festival in Spain on July 13 and 14.
The festival - which flips between Barcelona and Madrid - will see Harvey take to the stage alongside Chemical Brothers, Flaming Lips and Javis Cocker amongst others, with full tickets details available here.
