Pearl Jam Announce UK Live Dates

added 30 January 2007 at 16.08

Furrow-browed, overly earnest Grungfathers Pearl Jam have announced a rare European tour, which includes a date at Wembley Arena in June.

Eddie Vedder and Co. will be kicking off a 13-date European tour on June 8 at the Lisbon Passeio Maritimo Alges in Portugal (obviously) before retuning to the UK for the first time since they headlined the Reading and Leeds festivals in 2005, to play a show at London's Wembley Arena on June 18.

In a characteristically ‘right-on maaaaaan’ move, the band have reserved the entire floor of Wembley Arena for members of their fan club, who are able to buy tickets through the group's official website www.pearljam.com from today (January 30).

Any tickets not sold during the fan club pre-sale will be released for public sale along with seating tickets.

These will go on general sale at 9am this Friday (February 2) from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.

Pearl Jam's European tour dates are as follows:

  • Madrid Festimad, Spain (9)
  • Munich Olympichalle, Germany (12)
  • Katowice Chorzow Stadion Slaski, Poland (13)
