My Bloody Valentine Confirmed For Benicassim '08
Newly reformed shoe gazers My Bloody Valentine have been confirmed as one of the headliners at next year's Benicassim festival in Spain.
Also added to the bill are Babyshambles and the horny horns of The Rumble Strips.
The event takes place from July 17 to 20. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (December 14) and are priced at a reduced rate of €169 for a four-day pass. This is limited to the first 5,000 tickets and the offer ends January 15. Unless, of course, the tickets sell out before then.
This year's festival saw performances from Iggy & The Stooges, Amy Winehouse and !!! amongst others.
My Bloody Valentine's UK tour for June - July sold out within minutes and will see the highly influential and brain-meltingly loud Irish quartet play their first British dates since 1992.
The band are also threatening to release their first full-length album since 1991's classic, 'Loveless'.
