Manic Street Preachers Announce Tour

Following their one-off appearance at Xfm’s Winter Wonderland concert, the Manic Street Preachers have announced a full UK tour and revealed details of their new album, ‘Send Away The Tigers’.

Manic Street Preachers have announced a major 23-date UK tour in May and June, kicking off at the Cambridge Corn Exchange taking in no less than three London dates at The Forum, The Astoria and Shepherds Bush Empire and culminating in a show at the Reading Hexagon.

These will be the first Manic Street Preachers touring shows in two years and bassist Nicky Wire promises, “Springsteenesque long sets, working class rage, make-up and dumb punk fun”.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday February 9 and will be available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.

The band’s eighth studio album, ‘Send Away The Tigers’ due for release in May on Columbia Records and details about the first single will be announced shortly.
