Happy Mondays And Supergrass To Headline Electric Gardens

added 27 April 2007 at 12.13

The legendary Happy Mondays will headline alongside Supergrass at Kent’s Electric Garden Festival on August 4 and 5.

The quirky festival, which takes place at Kent’s Mount Ephraim Gardens, will see over 50 eclectic acts performing across four stages.

Last year’s debut saw over 10,000 people flock to the refreshingly uncorporate festival, with a line-up boasting The Charlatans, The Automatic, The Fratellis and Audio Bullys.

This year headliners Happy Mondays - who return to play in Kent for the first time in 20 years -promise a greatest hits set filled with all the classics alongside new material which will bring the festival to a close on Sunday night.

Brit-pop legends Supergrass will be taking to the stage on Saturday night alongside a whole host of other acts yet to be announced.

Tickets cost from £32.50 to £40 for a single day pass (depending on how early you book) and from £60 to £75 for a full weekend.

Tickets will be available from 9am on Friday May 4 at the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.
