Damon Blocks Blur Disco Remix

It appears that Damon Albarn isn’t too enamoured of a remix that the Pet Shop Boys did of the Blur track 'Girls and Boys', and has refused to allow them to include it on their upcoming ‘Disco 4’ compilation.
According to reports the Blur frontman / Gorillaz mastermind / The Good, The Bad & The Queen singer has vetoed plans for Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe to include their reworking of the 'Parklife' song on their new album.
‘Disco 4’, will feature re-workings of songs by The Killers, Madonna, Yoko Ono and David Bowie, but apparently the Blur track hasn’t been met with the warmest reception.
"Damon complained that they had made the song sound like their own.” A predictably unnamed source told The Sun, "He was also annoyed when he heard Neil Tennant supported Oasis in their '90s chart battle with Blur. Neil said Damon was pretentious."
In other Blur-related news, a stalker of former (or current if the ‘Blur Back In The Studio’ reports are to be believed – which they should) guitarist Graham Coxon has been cautioned by police.
According to The Mirror a 31-year-old American Sue Ellingham, had been responsible for abusing Coxon on his website, writing false claims about his sex life, allegedly turning up at the school of his five-year-old daughter and at his London home, and last month she reportedly trashed his farmhouse near Canterbury, Kent.
Following the caution, Ellingham now risks being deported back to the US if she tries to contact Coxon again.
