Aerosmith Sued By Fans

Aerosmith are being sued by fans over the cancellation of a Hawaiian show and they could be stung for up to $20 million.

Gig goers were left disappointed after last months' Aerosmith gig at Maui War Memorial Stadium was cancelled with 'scheduling conflicts' cited as the reason.

Now a local Hawaiian lawyer claims that she's been contacted by dozens of fans hoping to recoup some of their losses, with the lawsuit filed claiming that the late notice about the gig's cancellation was unnecessary and meant money was lost on airfares, hotel reservations and car rentals.

Lisa Sanchez - the first fan to take legal steps - claims she lost around $120 in plane tickets.

Should Aerosmith be found by a judge to be deceptive in cancelling the show so late each ticket-buyer will be contacted and informed, and could be eligible for a miminum of $1,000.

With a capacity of 20,000 at the gig venue that means Aerosmith may well be facing a lawsuit of $20 Million.
