X-clusive: Bloc Party UK Tour And LP Tracklisting

Xfm are proud to announce that Bloc Party will finally be returning to the live area with a full UK tour (including three dates at the London Astoria) and have unveiled the tracklisting for their new album.

They’ve been away for a while busily putting the finishing touched to the follow up to their acclaimed debut album ‘Silent Alarm’ with producer Jacknife Lee, but now Bloc Party are back on the road.

As such, Xfm can announce that Bloc Party will be headlining three nights at the Astoria, London on Wednesday January 31, Thursday February 1 and Friday February 2.

Tickets for all three concerts will be going on-sale at 9am this Friday October 27 and will be available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.
 
In other Bloc Party news, more details about their new album ‘A Weekend In The City’ have emerged. The new LP will be released on Monday February 5 (full tracklisting below). According to a statement from the band it was inspired by lead singer Kele Okereke’s interest in what he calls “The living noise of a Metropolis.”

Preceding it will be a new single, 'The Prayer' expected on January 29.
