Coldplay ‘The Hardest Part’
[Dial-Up]
[Broadband]
Weird video featuring what purports to be actual footage of a dance duo from some 80s American TV show. What’s weird about it? Well, the male dancer is 25 and his partner is an 84 year old lady – and they’re both dressed in faux bondage gear – and Coldplay have been superimposed through the sort of expensive computer trickery you have access to when your missus’ godfather is Steven Spielberg.
The Vines ‘Gross Out’
[Dial-Up]
[Broadband]
First taste of the band’s forthcoming, rather brilliant third album ‘Vision Valley’. The video looks like it was shot on a budget, a performance job in negative black and white.
Clearlake ‘Neon’
[Dial-Up]
[Broadband]
With a previously unknown knack for the startlingly obvious, Brighton’s pastoral psychedelicists Clearlake have made a video which shows the band…playing under neon lights. Every so often cutting away to…neon signs. That said, it works well giving the song the grimy seedy feel that it needs.
