Thee Unstrung - Live On Music: Response

Good time pop-punks Thee Unstrung play live and talk about Pete Doherty, The Housemartins and The Sex Pistols with Ian Camfield on Music: Response. Hear the session and interview here.
Given their Big Break by a certain Alan McGee, Thee Unstrung are a bunch of loveable cock-er-ney geezers playing cheerfully hectic, spiky guitar pop like some kind of pissed off Monkees. With a suitably spiky debut album in the can, the lads played live in support of new single 'Psycho' out this week.
They've been compared to The Housemartins, used to be an Oasis covers band and were christened by Pete Doherty, hear Thee Unstrung give Ian Camfield the lowdown [listen] .
Thee Unstrung 'Psycho'

[Broadband]
Mercilessly catchy paen to a certain type of girl, complete with 'Ba-ba-ba-doo-ba's and gang harmonies.
Thee Unstrung 'Looking For Nancy'
[Dial-Up]
[Broadband]
It take s aspecial kind of man to admit that he's lost in love fair and square - 'He's a better man than me/Don't you think that I can see?'. Thee Unstrung are four such men, but hopefully they're not referring to Sid Vicious.
Thee Unstrung 'Panthers of Batignolies'

Exclusive Online Track!
The opening riff's pure System Of A Down and the title's bizarre enough to be inspired by the same source. A short, sharp, shock of a track.
