added 03 May 2006 at 17.51

Having conquered the country with thier last album 'Final Straw', Snow Patrol have finally returned with their long awaited and spoke to exclusively to John Kennedy in this track by track interview. Listen to it right here.

After years of languashing in indie rock hell, Snow Patrol's big breakthrough finally came in 2004 with the release of the massive anthem 'Run' that conquered both the charts and festival crowds around the nation. The album it was taken from, 'Final Straw' became one of last years biggest sellers following a long overdue re-release and after hooking up once again with producer Garret 'Jacknife' Lee they return with long awaited follow up 'Eyes Open' that sees them operating on a far larger and more anthemic scale.

Speaking exclusively to John Kennedy they told him about their sudden success, growing up in Belfast and the process of recording a highly awaited album. [listen]
