London four-piece Johnny Panic are back on the circuit with new single 'Automatic Healer' which is all about hookers. Hear them play live and talk to Ian Camfield about Japan, constant touring and tarts with hearts.

Johnny Panic have spent most of the past few years working the UK gig circuit with the kind of determined devotion that Pete Doherty wouldn't recognise if it sat him down for a few days and patiently explained the concept with graphs.

Along the way they've released a string of so-catchy-it-hurts-like-fuck singles, a stupidly underrated debut album (the quite superb 'The Violent Dazzling') and, furthermore, subtley demonstrated that music can offer a little more than the occassional cautionary tale about overdoing the skag (second single 'Burn Your Youth' addressed the quiet epidemic of young male suicide, new single 'Automatic Healer' suggests that, maybe, prostitutes are people too)
