Embrace Announce Xfm Tour

added 26 January 2006 at 14.53

Clearly not interested in waiting for more hand-outs from Chris Martin, Embrace have confirmed a series of new dates to support their new album 'This New Day'. All the details of the dates and the album are right here...

If your seemingly on-the-rocks career suddenly takes a turn for the triumphant, you don't sit on your laurels. Danny McNamara and his band of indie survivors know this, which may explain why the band haven't hung around, with work on the follow-up to 2004's comeback, 'Out Of Nothing'
now complete.

Embrace are to release their new album, entitled 'This New Day', on April 3 with a new single of the same name preceding it on March 20. And to celebrate, the band have announced a series of shows in association with Xfm Scotland including shows at:

  • Oban Corran Halls (April 8)
  • Stirling Albert Halls (9)
  • Dundee Fat Sams (10)
  • Aberdeen Music Hall (12)
  • Glasgow Barrowland (13)
  • Edinburgh Corn Exchange (14)

The shows go on sale from Friday (January 27) and tickets will be available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.

The tracklisting for 'This New Day' is:

  1. 'No Use Crying'
  2. 'Nature's Law'
  3. 'You Will Hit the Target Every Time'
  4. 'Sainted'
  5. 'I Can't Come Down'
  6. 'Celebrate'
  7. 'Exploding Machines'
  8. 'Even Smaller Stones'
  9. 'The End Is Near'
  10. 'This New Day'
