Do Me Bad Things - Live On Music: Response

added 30 March 2005 at 09.41

The 18-legged punk-funk-soul machine that is Do Me Bad Things pack out the Music: Response studio to play live and talk to Marsha about forthcoming debut album 'Yes!'

As diverse a collection of singers, musicians and chorus girls as you're ever likely to find (think Electric Six and Scissor Sisters meeting The Bellrays at a hen night) Do Me Bad Things emerged fully-formed from Croydon late last year, with the storming, stomping anthem 'Time For Deliverance', quickly becoming the first signings to The Darkness' Must Destroy label.

With new single 'What's Hideous' out this week and the awesomely righteous debut 'Yes!' crash landing in record stores any day now, the 'Things came by Music: Response to talk about supporting Justin Hawkins' mob, playing posh kid's elmer mater Eton and splitting audiences in half [listen].

Do Me Bad Things 'What's Hideous?' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]
A rampant, strutting tart of a song DMBT's second single proper preens itself like the gaudy peacock it knows it is. Whore.

Do Me Bad Things 'Molly's Wood' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]
A dark, sinister counterpart to the 'Things' usual exuberance, 'Molly's Wood' purrs along like a buzzsaw that's recently been used to clean up after a multiple homicide.
