Dirty Pretty Things For Love Music Hate Racism Gig

Dirty Pretty Things will be playing a very special one-off concert in London to show their support for the Love Music Hate Racism campaign alongside Roll Deep and Rock I.D.
The Barking & Dagenham branch of the national Love Music Hate Racism campaign is staging the gig at The Cauliflower (a historic gin house apparently) on Saturday September 30.
Dirty Pretty Things will be topping the bill, which also includes crew Roll Deep and Rock I.D.
In a statement issued to Xfm, Dirty Pretty Things singer Carl Barat, said, “For evil to triumph, all that is necessary is that good people do nothing. Apathy is a killer and it's easy to be complacent. We're dedicated to this in the same way we're dedicated to melody and bringing people together
through music."
Roll Deep added, “As a multi racial group we stand firmly on the side of LMHR and what they are trying to do. Judging people by the colour of their skin is totally unacceptable; it always has been, but now a days even more so, because of the integration in our society.”
A very limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public, so check the LMHR website www.lovemusichateracism.com for further information. All tickets will be priced at £5 (plus £1 booking fee for online bookings).
The gig takes place from 8pm-late at The Cauliflower which is at 553 High Road, Seven Kings, IG1 1TZ.
The full line up is:
- Dirty Pretty Things
- Roll Deep
- Rock I.D.
- O.T. Crew
- The Mentalists
- Feedback
- DJ Ian Punter
