Yeti: Brand New Monsters

Onetime Libertines bassist John Hassel is back at the helm of a new outfit - the gloriously feisty Yeti. Already looking set to break the top 30 with their debut single 'Never Lose Your Sense Of Wonder', Yeti came by Music: Response to chat and play live.
Emerging from the substantial shadows of messrs Barat and Doherty was never going to be easy, but John Hassel's new band Yeti proves that there was more than just two songwriting talents in the tabloid's favourite car crash.
John - along with bandmates Harmony Williams (guitar), Andrew Dean Jung (guitar) Brendan Kersey (bass) and Graham Blacow (drums) - hit Music: Response to explain his road to Damascus moment in a Coventry Holiday Inn Express, touring with Razorlight and the forthcoming Yeti album [listen] .
