X-clusive: See Keane For Free With Xfm

Continuing our unbroken run of Xfm Live Sessions this year with The Streets, The Thrills, The Music, Kasabian, Athlete and Ash all recently taking the stage for us, we can exclusively announce that Keane are the next act lined up to play.
Following the massive critical and simply gargantuan commercial success of their debut album 'Hopes And Fears' (the second best selling album of 2004 in fact, shifting over two
million copies), Xfm is proud to announce that
Keane will be playing an exclusive Xfm Live Session in association with Jameson Irish Whisky.
The gig will be taking place at The Carling Academy, Islington, London on Tuesday March 8. Considering they could easily sell out a week of gigs at Wembley Arena (capacity 10,000) the chance of seeing them in such intimate surroundings (capacity 800) will make this a very, very special gig.
Anyway, doors will be open at 7:00pm (with no support band) and Keane will be onstage at 9:00pm. And, as if that wasn't enough, Xfm's very own Iain Baker will be DJing and compering throughout the evening.
Like our already legendary Xfm Live Sessions tickets for the gig aren’t available through the usual outlets, but you can win them by listening to 104.9 Xfm or by entering our exclusive competition online simply by clicking here.
Recent Xfm Live Sessions with Jameson have included Kasabian, The Music, The Streets, Graham Coxon, The Thrills, Ash, Jet, Snow Patrol, lostprophets, Athete and Supergrass. To have a look at the full archive of these sessions just click here.
