X-clusive: Kaiser Chiefs Announce April Tour
Kaiser Chiefs have announced they'll be hitting the road for a huge UK tour next year culminating with their biggest UK show to date. Xfm can also reveal the Leeds five piece will be joined by some very special guests.
Kaiser Chiefs will be following up their Rock 'N' Roll Riot Tour with a huge UK tour in April 2006.
A message from the band reads as follows:
"Thanks to everyone who came to see us on the UK tour just finished. These were some of our favourite gigs ever, you proved there's no place like home!"
The band had originally said that the dates would finally put their debut album to bed, before beginning work on the follow-up. However, it seems that pressure from the fans has caused the band to relent,
"When we announced them back in July our message board was full of venom within hours as all the dates sold out immediately. So we've decided to play one final run of 'Employment' gigs in April 2006."
The band will also be taking Graham Coxon and Polysics as their special guests on the jaunt.
The tickets go on general sale at 9am on Saturday November 5 and will be available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.
The band will play the following shows:
- Glasgow SECC (April 19)
- London Alexandra Palace (21)
- Plymouth Pavillion (24)
- Brighton Convention Centre (25)
- Birmingham NIA (26)
- Leeds Millenium Square (29)
