The Mooney Suzuki

They're the band that make The Darkness look like Harold Pinter. The Mooney Suzuki are alive and amplified, exclusively in the Xfm studio. Hear the session here.

The Mooney Suzuki 'Xfm Session' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]

Having got their Big Break last year courtesy of the Jack Black vehicle 'Rock School' (writing all the songs credited to Black's infant ensemble) The Mooney Suzuki lost no time in taking over the world. With an album and live show cementing their reputation as 150% pure entertainment, the NYC four-piece won their fans with a contemporary take on classic rock 'n' roll and a very, very retro take on the viability of purple flares.

Session opener and signature tune 'Alive And Amplified' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] brings the noise, justly confirming its hit status.  'Primitive Condition' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] meanwhile, is the best song about crazy wild animal sex since 'Danger! High Voltage!' and 'Shake That Bush Again' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] is a relentless slice of funk, rock and soul with a hidden agenda that'll make you blush. Enjoy.
