The Great Kaiser Chiefs Tambourine Auction!
Ricky Wilson from the mighty Kaiser Chiefs has decided to auction off his beloved tambourine to raise money for Shelter. Fancy bidding for it? Well, here's where you can.
This is a pretty unique piece of percussion. Mr Ricky Wilson from popular beat combo The Kaiser Chiefs has played this tambourine (pictured) on stages all over the world for the past year. Its been played at festivals, clubs and arenas across the globe (and we believe it might even have been used during a recording session or two).
Its been bashed, walloped, chucked and - most importantly - loved by one of the country's best and biggest bands.
This is a tambourine that has lived.
Now, following its appearance at Xfm's Winter Wonderland gig, Ricky has decided to let it go. In fact, he's signed it and
donated it to Xfm so that the lovely Lauren Laverne can auction it on the Xfm Breakfast Show to raise money for homelesss charity Shelter.
So if you would like to own this wondrous piece of musical equipment, all you have to do is fill in the form below with your top bid. Lauren will be receiving bids up until 9.00am on Friday December 23, when she will announce the winning bidder's details on the Breakfast Show.
