Supergrass Announce Surprise Tour
Things have been very quiet in the Supergrass camp for a year now, with only mutterings of a new studio album to keep fans happy. Then all of a sudden – wallop! – they announce a full headlining UK tour.
Since their Greatest Hits album ‘Supergrass Is 10’ came out last year, Supergrass have been quietly at work recording their sixth studio album, with reports claiming the new record will be released later this year.
Now comes the unexpected news that the band will be debuting the new material when they undertake a 12 date headlining UK tour in May. The jaunt kicks off in Manchester takes in a date at Koko, in London and culminates in a show at the Liverpool Academy.
More dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
