Sigur Ros Announce One-Off UK Date

Following their recent UK gigs (described variously as “Bloody brilliant” and “Absolute f*cking genius”), Icelanders Sigur Ros have announced a one-off show for 2006.

Sigur Ros have confirmed a single British date for March 2006. The band will play the Hammersmith Apollo in London on March 29, before setting off for a tour of Japan and Australia.

The band are still to confirm their full line-up for
the show but it is expected the band will be joined
by a selection of musical collaborators, such as the
nine-piece brass section who appeared at the band's
recent Brixton Academy show.
