Richard Ashcroft Confirms Live Dates

Following the announcement of his comeback solo record, Richard Ashcroft has confirmed a series of intimate solo dates including shows in London, Gateshead and Preston.

Richard Ashcroft has confirmed three UK dates for 2006 as he begins promoting his comeback record, 'Keys To The World'. The album hits shops on January 23 and will be the follow-up to 2002's 'Human Conditions' on January 23. A single 'Break The Night With Colour' will precede the release on January 9.

Tickets for the three shows go on sale this Friday (November 25) at 9am, and will be available by clicking here or from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049.

Ashcroft will play his first comeback headline show in London next month when he takes to the stage at the sold-out London King's College on December 7, his first shows in the capital since his dates at the Brixton Academy three years ago.

The former Verve star is also the latest addition to the line-up for Xfm's sold-out pair of Winter Wonderland gigs at Brixton Academy on December 11 and 12. Ashcroft joins the Monday (12) line-up of Supergrass, Athlete, The Go! Team, Morning Runner, Graham Coxon and Kubb. Magnet and The Kooks have also been confirmed as special guests for the Sunday night (11) gig. For more details click here.
