Maximo Park Singer Launches Lost Bag Appeal

Maximo Park singer Paul Smith has made a public appeal for the return of his recently lost bag – which contained a load of very personal and irreplaceable items – and offered an impressive reward.
Smith lost the bag in question two days ago after a gig and has now launched an appeal to Xfm listeners and Xfm Online users to help with its location and hopeful eventual return.
A statement issued from the band’s management reads,
“Dear all, this is a personal appeal on behalf of Paul Smith, singer of Maximo Park. On 25th April, after the Maximo Park gig at Northumbria University, Paul misplaced his bag containing several items of personal significance - the most devastating loss being his Red Book, containing song lyrics to the ‘A Certain Trigger’ album, poetry, and various other writings representing his life's work.
“We're desperate to get this bag and its contents back, so we're appealing for your help, especially those of you near the Cooperage along the quayside in Newcastle, where the bag was last seen”
The bag is described as “A white linen Japanese soft-boy” and is said to have contained Paul's Red Book containing his life's work (lyrics to the album, poetry, etc.), Polaroid photos and drawings, Kafka and Camus books plus his wallet and keys, described in the statement as “...basically his LIFE.”
Anyone who can help with the whereabouts of the band can contact Colin at Streetfeat Management on info@streetfeat.demon.co.uk or +44 (0)208 964 1917.
By way of an incentive, anyone who’s help lead to the return of the bag is promised “Tickets to any Maximo Park show you want plus a huge hug from Paul” as a reward.
