Idlewild Give ‘Warning’ Of UK Tour

Idlewild have confirmed that UK fans will get a sneak preview of their forthcoming album ‘Warnings/Promises’ as they play a clutch of tour dates this month.

The tour will see the band back on the road for the first time since the promotional dates for 2002’s ‘The Remote Part’. The first single to be taken from the album, ‘Love Steals Us From Loneliness’, is released on February 21 while 'Warnings/Promises' will follow on March 7.

The four dates are billed as acoustic shows with the band promising to play tracks from their whole back catalogue as well as their new record. However, the band will be returning for a full electric tour later in the year in support of ‘Warnings/Promises’.

Tickets for the shows are available either by calling the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or to go to the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here. The band will be playing the following venues:

  • Glasgow RAMDA Concert Hall (January 22)
  • Manchester RNCM (23)
  • Bristol St Georges (25)
  • London Shaw Theatre (26)
