Hard Up With Hard-Fi

Up and coming young bucks Hard-Fi visit Music: Response to share their story so far, play live and offer some tips for terrorists. Hear the session and interview here.
Currently riding high on the Xfm playlist with the dirty rhythms of 'lend-us-a-tenner' debut single 'Cash Machine', Hard-Fi are to ska what Muse are to prog-rock - bold experimentalists unafraid to grasp an established genre and bend and twist it in their own image. Four 20-somethings from the arse-end of West London, Richard Archer, Ross Philips, Kai Stephens and Steve Kemp are particularly suited to such an experiment, the product as they are of Staines' hard concrete edges and general misery.
Hitting Music: Response the lads told tales of dismaying the neighbours with the construction of their own studio, their self-produced debut album 'Stars of CCTV' and dodging Heathrow security to spend over an hour performing thirty feet below descending jumbos for the 'Cash Machine' video. Hard-Fi 'Cash Machine'
[Dial-Up]
[Broadband]
A funk-ish, ska-like tale of urban ennui bought on by excessive exposure to the 'Insufficient Funds' message. Pregnant girlfriends, marauding ticket inspectors and local takeaways all vie for our hero's dwindling resources as he tries to 'Gets to where I wants to be'.
Hard-Fi 'Middle Eastern Holiday'
[Dial-Up]
[Broadband]
Upcoming second single referencing the current ruck in Iraq in the style of Michael Caine fronting The Specials.
