Gorillaz Ticket Details Revealed
Following news that Gorillaz will be playing a five night residency at the Manchester Opera House in November, comes all the information about how and when you can get tickets for this very exclusive event.
As previously reported, Gorillaz will be playing the whole of the their recent three million selling album ‘Demon Days’ on five consecutive nights at the 2000-capacity Manchester Opera House from November 1 to 5.
The concert will form part of the new two year long Manchester International Festival, which is commissioning and hosting brand new, never before staged concert shows and artworks from around the world.
Ticket details for the gigs were finally revealed this morning (September 26) with punters able to buy them from Monday 3 October at 10am.
Tickets will be available online from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, from a 24 hour ticket hotline on 0871 230 1888 or in person at the Palace Theatre Box Office, Oxford Street, Manchester.
Tickets are limited to 4 per person and are priced at £38, £34, £28, £18 and £12.
The concert will be Gorillaz first ever full live show and includes performances from Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn and his long-time collaborator drummer Cass Brown, while guest musicians will include Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder and Roots Manuva, with further names to be announced in the run-up to the event.
There are rumours the band will attempt to involve all the album’s vocalists which would include De La Soul, Martina Topley-Bird and Hollywood legend Dennis Hopper.
In addition the visuals on the evening will be provided by Gorillaz co-creator and artist Jamie Hewlett.
