Garbage On “Indefinite Hiatus”

Garbage look likely to split following an interview in which frontwoman Shirley Manson confirmed the band taking an “indefinite break”.
The band have announced they will be taking time out after their Australian tour ends on October 1 in Perth. During their current tour, Manson is reported to have told the Melbourne Herald Sun,
"We're taking a hiatus - I don't know if we're calling it a day. We've not stopped for 10 years. We always swore if it wasn't 100 per cent fun, we'd stop it."
Rumours began to circulate that the band may split after they cancelled the European dates which were due to follow the gigs in Australia, with exhaustion cited as the reason for the abolition.
The band have also admitted they came close to splitting during the recording of current album ‘Bleed Like Me’.
