Franz Cover Air For Next Single

Ahead of their huge quartet of Alexandra Palace shows, Franz Ferdinand have confirmed that they will be covering a track from French electronic stars Air as the B-side for their next single, 'Walk Away'.

Franz Ferdinand have announced that their cover of Air's 'Sexy Boy' will feature as a B-side of their new single 'Walk Away'. 

Set for release on December 5, the track hits shops straight after their run of four shows at London's Alexandra Palace (November 30 - December 3) during which the band will play to 125,00 people.

With the number one slot available to any band who can shift (approximately) 10,000 singles this means Franz could secure their first ever number one if just a tenth of the Alley Palley attendees buys a copy. Previously, the band have only managed a top 3 hit with 'Take Me Out'.   

The single was recorded as part of the album sessions in Scotland and New York and was produced by the band and Rich Costey. It will be released on 7”, CD and DVD:
