Foo Fighters Day On 104.9 Xfm
Xfm is marking the release of the new Foo Fighters album ‘In Your Honour’ with a special Foo Fighters Day on Monday June 13 including an exclusive track-by-track of the new record by the band themselves.
The big name albums just keep coming and Xfm follow up their run of exclusive track-by-track album playbacks (which have included Oasis, Coldplay, and The Tears to name but three) with the Foo Fighters’ amazing new half rock/half acoustic double album ‘In Your Honour’.
Frontman Dave Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins will talk exclusively about the brand new record, and give a complete run down of every track in a special three hour extended version of X-Posure Part 2 hosted by the inimitable John Kennedy from 10pm until 1am on Monday June 13.
You’ll also be able to hear the whole interview at Xfm Online at from Tuesday June 14 click here.
The show will be the finale to a whole day of Foo Fighters action on Xfm. There’ll also be an X-List special with Iain Baker between 1pm and 2pm where instead of the listeners choosing the song all tracks will be chosen exclusively by the band.
Xfm will also be playing out Foo Fighters tracks, both old and new, throughout the day and listeners will be given the chance to win copies of the new album and gig tickets.
