Foo Fighters And Green Day Play T In The Park

As rumoured Foo Fighters and Green Day will be the headline acts at this year's T In The Park festival, topping a bill which also includes Keane, Prodigy, Ian Brown and Kasabian.
At the event's launch party in Glasgow, a total of 14 bands were announced to play T In The Park 2005 which will take place at Balado, near Kinross in Scotland on July 9 and 10.
The Saturday night will be headlined by Foo Fighters with Keane, Embrace, The Streets, Audioslave, Beautiful South and The Coral also confirmed to play.
On Sunday, Green Day will top the bill, with The Killers, Prodigy, Kasabian, Ian Brown, Razorlight and Biffy Clyro all on the bill.
Festival boss Geoff Ellis said: "It’s fantastic to welcome back Green Day to the event - this time in a headline slot. In addition, we have already secured some of the biggest and best acts of the moment, including 2005 Brit award winners Keane and The Streets, with many more to be announced over the coming months."
Tickets for the event go on sale at 9.00am this Saturday (February 12) and are priced at £82 for the weekend (plus £15 for camping) or £46.50 for day tickets.
