Eminem Cancels European Tour

Despite recent protestations that he isn’t retiring. Eminem has shocked his fans by announcing he has cancelled his entire European tour (including six shows in the UK) due to exhaustion.
The controversial rapper’s 10-date tour Anger Management 3 European tour was due to begin in Germany on September 1, before taking in shows in Milton Keynes, Edinburgh and Manchester and ending up in Dublin on September 17.
However a statement issued from Interscope Records has confirmed that Eminem will no longer be playing the dates, citing exhaustion as the reason. It reads,
“Eminem announced today that he will be cancelling [sic] his European tour dates, which run from September 1st through 17th. Eminem is currently being treated for exhaustion, complicated by other medical issues. The shows are not expected to be rescheduled.”
No further details about his condition or the mysterious sounding “medical issues” have given, but its assumed ticket holders can get refunds from place of purchase.
As recently as July, the rapper was deniying reports (which had originated from a member of his band D-12) that he would be retiring from touring and making solo albums later this year, and dismissed claims the upcoming Dublin concerts would be his last.
The cancelled Anger Management 3 UK dates are (which would've included special guests in the form of 50 Cent along with assorted member of his Shady Records stable including Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz, G-Unit, D-12, Obie Trice and Stat Quo) are:
- The National Bowl Milton Keynes (September 9)
- The National Bowl Milton Keynes (10)
- Murrayfield Stadium Edinburgh (12)
- Lancashire C.C.C. Old Trafford, Manchester, (14)
- Lancashire C.C.C. Old Trafford, Manchester, (15)
- Slane Castle, Dublin (17)
