Eminem Announces Anger Management Tour

added 06 April 2005 at 16.12

Eminem has revealed details of the third ever Anger Management tour taking place in June and featuring performances from 50 Cent, G-Unit, D-12, Obie Trice and all the usual suspects.

The 23-date jaunt – the third Anger Management tour - will take place across North America  starting off in Indianapolis on July 7. This year's typically extensive bill includes performances from Eminem himself and his Shady Records labelmate 50 Cent, plus appearances from Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, G-Unit, D-12, Obie Trice and Stat Quo.

This will be the first ever tour to feature Eminem and 50 Cent on the same bill, and is the first tour Eminem has done since the November 12 release of his last multi platinum selling album, ‘Encore’.

"We've been waiting for the right moment to go on tour, and it all finally came together," said Eminem in a statement, "We wanted to put together the best line-up we could... I'm always trying to top the last tour whenever I go out. I think we're really doing it this time."

50 Cent added, "Whenever I get together with Em you know it's going to be hot. Right now, I don't see anything that will stop this from being the tour of the summer. You better put in for that time off from the job now, before somebody else beats you to it. Or quit your job so you can see every show."

Quite.

While no European or UK tour dates have been announced, since news of the concerts rumours as to whether Eminem will be bringing the event across the Atlantic. The last time he played in the UK was a special one-off gig at the 800 capacity Islington Academy on November 20.
