Do Me Bad Things

As the new kids on the label that discovered The Darkness, Do Me Bad Things have got a lot to live up to. Luckily the eccentric, nine-strong anarchy outfit is more than ready for the challenge. Check out their exclusive Xfm session.
Based in Croydon and formed in a pub on Valentine’s day 2003 (obviously none of them had a date), Do Me Bad Things' were born to create a 'Power House of Triangles'(?). This seems to involve mocking commercial pop by wearing outrageously unfashionable stage costumes and clown-like make-up.
Kicking off with ‘The Song Rides ’ [Dial-Up] [Broadband], DMBT's first release on Must Destroy Records, classic heavy metal riffs meet Kinks-inspired guitar lines and do-woop vocals. Next up, ascending harmonies build up to the chorus of the superb 'Time For Deliverance ' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] where we get our first taste of main singer Chantal Delusional's fantastic voice, shadowed by constant guitar soloing.
Skunk Anansie-esque heavy soul ballad 'Off The Hook' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] and 'Thats My Demographic' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] close things down. Do Me Bad Things have proved they're definitely to be taken seriously.
