Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Upscale London Show
New York’s almost unbelievably hotly-tipped new band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have had their first even London gig moved to a different venue due to incredible demand.
To the music industry they’re probably the band with the biggest claim to the title Next Big Thing right now, to their fans they’re achingly hip New York outfit Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and to their parents they’re just Alec Ounsworth, Lee Sargent, Robbie Guertin, Tyler Sargent and Sean Greenhalgh.
Playing songs from their self titled debut album (which features tracks with such wonderful names as ‘The Skin Of My Yellow Country Teeth’ and ‘Upon This Tidal Wave Of Young Blood’) the band were booked to play 100 Club in London on November 22.
But no more.
Due to what has been described as ‘crazy’ demand, the gig has been moved to at ULU (though the gig is still on same date). As ever tickets for all of the bands shows are available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.
Remember, you heard it hear first. We’re normally right about these things, so take note (unless of course they bomb without a trace, in which case we always thought they were shit).
