Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Announce More UK Dates

New York’s almost unbelievably hotly-tipped new band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah recently played their first UK dates. Missed em? Thought so... Here's your second bite of the cherry.

To the music industry they’re probably the band with the biggest claim to the title Next Big Thing right now, to their fans they’re achingly hip New York outfit Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and to their parents they’re just Alec Ounsworth, Lee Sargent, Robbie Guertin, Tyler Sargent and Sean Greenhalgh.

Their London date at ULU was met with a fair amount of praise [read review] from the curious capital scenesters, but with an LP that's shaping up to be one of the first 'buzz' releases of the new year, the band return in 2006 for a proper tour.

The band release the single 'Is This Love?' next week (December 5) while the self-titled album is scheduled to hit shops in January through Witchita records.
