Bloc Party Announce UK Dates

2005 hopefuls Bloc Party have confirmed they will be playing a series of UK dates to mark the release of their much-anticipated debut album ‘Silent Alarm’. The London four-piece will be playing four headline shows as well as a high profile support slot.
Bloc Party have announced they will be playing four shows in Edinburgh (March 1), Sheffield (2), London (4) and Portsmouth (5) around the release of their debut album ‘Silent Alarm’, out on February 14. Support on the tour will come from Pretty Girls Make Graves and Battle (London only).
The band also release a new single ‘So Here We Are’ a fortnight earlier on January 31 which will come backed with a re-recorded version of ‘The Marshalls Are Dead’ which originally appeared on the band’s debut 7” and ‘Positive Tension’, which also features on ‘Silent Alarm’.
Bloc Party will also be supporting Razorlight on February 12 at their Alexandra Palace show.
