Despite their tender years and non-existent back catalogue, Blackbud already have over 200 gigs under their belts - the next one's on November 8 at the Camden Barfly - and the experience shows.
'Heartbeat' is as slow-burning classic, that gradually accelerates into a muscular, assertive reluctant hero of a love song. The video illustrates this a spellbinding collection of rorschach blots and flying boxes, bleeding into bleak, moody shots of the band at work.
