X-clusive: Scissor Sisters Announce Huge UK Gig

Following possibly the campest Glastonbury performance ever, New York's Scissor Sisters have announced their biggest UK headline gig to date. While the band haven't started to advertised the details yet, Xfm can exclusively reveal that tickets for a huge show at the Royal Albert Hall are on sale now.
Leaving a Glastonbury crowd stunned, exhausted and grinning from ear to ear, the Sisters have announced their biggest UK headline show to date will take place at London's enormous Royal Albert Hall.
This show is not currently being advertised publicly outside of the band's website, however Xfm Online can confirm that the band will be playing the Royal Albert Hall on October 17 with tickets on sale to fans in the know, right now.
"There will be no advertising until next Monday," a message on the band's homepage explains "So grab your tickets early and get out your best ball gown."
In other Sisters news, the band will be filming a live DVD at the Brighton Dome on August 12. Scheduled to be released later in the year, the band "Request that you dress in your finest, freakiest outfits for this show. You are the stars."
Tickets are available for both shows from the Xfm Xchange on 0870 121 1049 or go online at the Xfm Live Gig Guide by clicking here or the usual agents.
The dates for the Scissor Sisters UK shows are as follows:
- Brighton Dome (August 12)
- V2004 - Stafford (21)
- V2004 - Chelmsford (22)
- Creamfields2004 - Liverpool (28)
