X-clusive: Delays Get Back On The Road

The South Coast four-piece Delays have confirmed they will be embarking on a mammoth UK tour this October in support of their forthcoming one off single. The single ‘Lost In A Melody’ is currently set for release next month and sees the band head in a new, more electronic direction.

Not originally featured on the band’s acclaimed debut ‘Faded Seaside Glamour’, the single ‘Lost In A Melody’ is rumoured to feature a more electronic, keyboard based sound and is claimed by some to be the best thing the band have ever done. It's set to hit shops on October 25 through Rough Trade Recordings.

The band will mark the release with a 10-date tour around the UK, starting in Wolverhampton on October 14 and calling at Edinburgh, Sheffield, Cambridge, Brighton, Loughborough, London, Leeds, Preston and Warwick.

Tickets are on sale now from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or by clicking here.

  • Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (October 14)
  • Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (15)
  • Sheffield Leadmill (16)
