The Zutons Hit the Road For Biggest UK Tour

added 26 August 2004 at 11.13

Following the shock announcement that the band have leapt from no-hope underdogs to second favourites for the Mercury Prize, The Zutons have announced their biggest UK headline tour to date.

The Zutons will release a new single ‘Don’t Ever Think (Too Much)’ through Deltasonic on October 4. The brand new song (not available on their debut album) was recorded at London’s Toe Rag Studios and produced by Liam Watson, famous for his work on The White Stripes’ ‘Elephant’.

As previously reported on Xfm Online, The Zutons’ debut album ‘Who Killed…The Zutons’ has been short-listed for 2004’s Nationwide Mercury Prize. The award ceremony will take place at Grosvenor House Hotel on September 7 and the band have been invited to perform at the event.
