The Return Of Ryan Adams

Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams made his long-awaited live return last week after he broke his wrist falling off the stage at a Liverpool gig early this year. The New York based troubadour is also rumoured to be returning to the UK before the end of the year.
Adams appeared during the encore of a Gillian Welch and David Rawlings gig in New York to duet with Welch on a version of his own ‘To Be Young (Is To Be Sad Is To Be High)’ before following with a cover of Neil Young’s ‘Helpless’.
The good news for Adams fans is that he was also playing guitar, putting paid to rumours that his injury would hinder him in the future. Adams is set to make his official comeback at the Austin City Limits festival in September.
Rumours are also flying around that Adams is set to return to the UK for a brief tour (November 12-14) calling at London, Manchester and Liverpool. However, those dates are yet to be confirmed so keep checking Xfm Online for more news as it emerges.
