As ‘Walk Idiot Walk’ the new single from Sweden’s top monochrome suited quintet The Hives surfaces on 104.9 Xfm, we can finally reveal the band’s new album title and release date, information hitherto shrouded in secrecy.

The day after The Hives intimate Download Festival warm up show at the London Electric Ballroom last night (June 3), Xfm Online can reveal that the band’s new single will be ‘Walk Idiot Walk' which will hit shops on July 5 on Polydor Records.

As well as the usual CD formats the single will be released on extra ‘heavy’ 7” white vinyl.

The track will be the first single off the band’s new album ‘Tyrannosaurus Hives’ which will be out on July 19.
