After a series of triumphant festival appearances The Flaming Lips return to Xfm for another exclusive live session.

The Flaming Lips 'Xfm Session' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]

This is the wonderful result of their visit to the Xfm studios: The Flaming Lips - 'Sunshine Balloons' [Dial-Up] [

href="javascript:openPlayer('http://mediasrv-the.musicradio.com/mediastore/xfm2003/sessions/flaming_lips_-_sunshine_balloons_hi.wma');">Broadband] One of the new tracks from the 'Ego Tripping...' EP/mini album. Opens up with a spoken-word, 'Malcolm In The Middle'-style monologue from Wayne, about how love is a happy cosmic accident and so on. Nice, a classic Flaming Lips tale of interplanetary sunbeam surfing.  The Flaming Lips - 'Ego Tripping At The Gates of Hell' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] The title is described by Wayne as sounding 'horrible', before he goes on to assure us that it's really a very optimistic song about catching yourself before an artist becomes a diva. Haunting, warm and mournful.
