The Faint

Off-beat lo-fi popsters The Faint are combining punk’s determination with the tools of technology, to create a shift in the underground scene.

The Faint 'Xfm Session' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]

Having built up the Omaha scene virtually from scratch since ’95, The Faint’s a name that’s been dropping excitedly from English lips for over a year now. Debut ‘Danse Macabre’ is an enthralling blend of heavy electronics and guitars and Xfm were treated to three of its finest moments. 'Worked Up So Sexual' [Dial-Up] [Broadband] is down and dirty, ‘Agenda Suicide’ [Dial-Up] [Broadband] comes over like some bastardised summer dancefloor anthem and closer ‘Glass Dance’ [Dial-Up] [Broadband] bristles with electronic shrapnel.
