The Chemical Brothers Return To London

Preceding their upcoming Glastonbury, Oxygen and T in the Park Festival appearances later on this summer, The Chemical Brothers will be returning to London for their first UK appearance of 2004.
Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will be playing a DJ set at Turnmills in London on Saturday May 22 at the club's near-legendary Glint night alongside Nathan Detroit and Justin Robertson.
This will be the band's third Glint event with Turnmills in their series of occasional parties and the night will also mark their first club outing since the huge Together event held at Turnmills on New Years Eve and will be their first UK appearance of 2004.
"After an amazing NYE at Turnmills we are really excited to be coming back to one of the best clubs in the world to do a Glint party,” explain the Brothers in a statement, “It’s always a real buzz to play in such a brilliant atmosphere and the fact that we feel so relaxed/free in Turnmills means we plan to play music fresh from the studio.”
The duo recently picked up the ‘Best International Act' at the DanceStar Awards 2004 and are holed-up in the studio working on the follow up to ‘Come With Us’. The release date is yet to be confirmed, but some new material will be road-tested at Glint.
“We are writing and recording right up until the night,” the couple explained, “So we should have lots of new mind bending chemical music to unleash!"
The Chemical Brothers will also be playing live at the Glastonbury, Oxygen and T in the Park festivals later on this summer.
Glint takes place at Turnmills, 63B Clerkenwell Road, London. EC1M 5NP from 10pm until 6am. Tickets are £12 advance and are available from www.ticketweb.com and 08700 600100.
