Placebo To Release Greatest Hits Album

Placebo will be following up their appearances at the Carling Weekender with their first ever greatest hits collection, entitled ‘Once More With Feeling’ bringing together all their singles to date.

The new collection entitled ‘Once More With Feeling’ will bring together all the singles the band has released over the past eight years from their four albums to date: 1996’s ‘Placebo’, 1998’s ‘Without You I'm Nothing’,
2000’s ‘Black Market Music’ and 2000’s ‘Sleeping With Ghosts’.

As such, the tracks ‘Bruise Pristine’, ‘Nancy Boy’, ‘Teenage Angst’, ‘36 Degrees’, ‘Come Home’, ‘Without You I'm Nothing’, ‘Every You Every Me’, ‘You Don't Care About Us’, ‘Pure Morning’, ‘Black-Eyed’, ‘Special K’, ‘Slave To The Wage’, ‘Taste In Men’, ‘English Summer Rain’, ‘Special Needs’, ‘This Picture’ and ‘The Bitter End’ will all be included.

The compilation will also feature one brand new, previously unreleased new track which will be released as a single on October 4.

Placebo are currently finishing off European tour which will culminate with performances at the Carling Reading and Leeds Weekender Festival on August 29 and 27 respectively.

‘Once More With Feeling’ will be released on October 18 on Virgin Records.
