Jimmy Eat World Download Incoming

Today sees the release of a downloadable EP by emo-punks Jimmy Eat World as a precursor to their forthcoming new album. The band will return in October with the follow up to 2002’s ‘Jimmy Eat World’ LP.

Jimmy Eat World have today (August 3) made the ‘Firestarter EP’ available for download through iTunes with a tracklisting as follows:

1. ‘Firestarter’
2. ‘Here You Me (Inner Ear Session)’
3. ‘My Sundown (Inner Ear Session)’
4. ‘Splash, Turn, Twist’

‘Firestarter’ is the cover of the Prodigy track recorded for 2002’s ‘1 Love’ charity covers album, while the Inner Session tracks are cuts taken from the sessions recorded at the Virginia studios of the same name.

The band have also have confirmed details of their new album entitled ‘Futures’ due to be released on October 18 and preceded by a single, ‘Pain’, scheduled for October 11.
