Duran Duran Extend Tour

After their previously announced tour dates sold out in a matter of minutes, legendary portly Brummie new romantics Duran Duran have added extra dates to their upcoming UK jaunt.

The April tour will be the band’s first with the original line up (of Andy Taylor, Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor) since 1984 and all tickets for the shows sold out withing minutes of going on sale.

As a result, the band have said that the "overwhelming demand" has led them to add concerts in SheffieldLondon and Cardiff and extra shows in their hometown of Birmingham.

Duran Duran will be joining the ranks of David Bowie, The Who and Fleetwood Mac when they collect their gong at next year's ceremony which takes place on February 17. The band were recently honoured by Q Magazine when they picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award. 

The new dates are at the Birmingham NEC (April 25), Sheffield Arena (27); Cardiff Arena (28) and a third date at Wembley Arena (30).
